From 9 May 2019, ATRs can conduct promotional activities in their assigned territories and engage in Olympic ticket promotion prior to the launch of actual ticket sales, so be on the lookout. ATRs can then commence their ticket sales from 15 June 2019, though the sales launch date in each territory may vary depending on each ATR’s sales plans and schedules. It contains the latest information on the event line-up for each session of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, details of the different categories of tickets, their prices and seat maps, as well as ticket sales guidelines. Key dates This initial stage of ticket sales will continue until 28 May, with results announced on 20 June. If you aren’t lucky come June, don’t worry. You will still be able to request tickets during the first-come, first-served phase, which will commence in autumn 2019.
